二、App 的用途

Smart Tool Box（BoxIO）是搭配 BoxIO 智慧工具箱、Key Card 及授權 NFC Tags 使用的工具管理應用程式。使用者可以建立工具箱 Group、掃描 NFC Tag，並為各抽屜設定名稱、照片及 labels。



• 使用者自行設定的 Group 名稱
• Key Card 上的 Active Code
• NFC Tag UID 及 Tag 內容
• 使用者設定的 Tag 名稱及 labels
• 使用者拍攝或選取的工具、抽屜照片
• App 語言及外觀偏好

上述資料均保存在使用者裝置本機。



四、資料蒐集及分享

Smart Tool Box（BoxIO）：

• 不要求建立使用者帳號
• 不會將工具箱、Group、Tag 或照片資料傳送至我們的伺服器
• 不使用雲端同步或遠端備份
• 不出售或出租使用者資料
• 不與第三方分享使用者建立的工具箱資料
• 不包含廣告追蹤或第三方分析服

務裝置作業系統、Google Play 或 Apple App Store 可能依其自身政策處理安裝、診斷或商店使用資料；相關處理不由本 App 控制。



五、裝置權限

App 可能使用以下裝置功能：

• NFC：讀取使用者主動靠近裝置的授權 BoxIO NFC Tag
• 相機：拍攝工具或抽屜照片
• 照片：讀取使用者主動選取的照片
• 本機儲存空間：保存 Group、Tag、labels、設定及照片參照資料

App除提供使用者要求的 App 功能外，這些權限不會用於廣告、追蹤或建立使用者檔案。



六、資料保存及刪除

資料會保留在使用者裝置上，直到使用者：

• 在 App 中刪除相關 Group 或 Tag
• 清除 App 資料
• 從裝置解除安裝 App

由於 App 不建立帳號，也不會將上述資料上傳至我們的伺服器，因此我們沒有可供遠端刪除的使用者帳戶或雲端資料副本。



七、資料安全

App 將資料保存在裝置本機，並依賴 Android 或 iOS 提供的裝置安全與應用程式隔離機制。我們採取合理措施保護 App 所處理的資料，但任何電子儲存方式皆無法保證絕對安全。



八、兒童隱私

Smart Tool Box（BoxIO）是工具箱管理及工作場所輔助應用程式，並非以 13 歲以下兒童為主要使用對象。我們不會刻意蒐集兒童的個人資料。



九、政策變更

我們可能因功能、法規或商店政策變更而更新本隱私權政策。更新後的版本會公布於本頁面，並註明最新生效日期。

2. Purpose of the App

Smart Tool Box (BoxIO) is a companion application for the BoxIO Smart Toolbox system, Key Cards, and authorized NFC Tags. Users can create toolbox groups, scan NFC Tags, and assign names, photos, and labels to individual drawers.



3. Data Processed by the App

The App may process and store the following information on the user’s device:

• User-defined group names
• Active Codes printed on BoxIO Key Cards
• NFC Tag UIDs and Tag contents
• User-defined Tag names and labels
• Tool or drawer photos captured or selected by the user
• App language and appearance preferences

This information remains stored locally on the user’s device.



4. Data Collection and Sharing

Smart Tool Box (BoxIO):

• Does not require a user account
• Does not transmit toolbox, group, Tag, or photo data to our servers
• Does not provide cloud synchronization or remote backup
• Does not sell or rent user data
• Does not share user-created toolbox data with third parties
• Does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics services

The device operating system, Google Play, or Apple App Store may independently process installation, diagnostic, or store usage information according to own privacy policies. Such processing is not controlled by this App.



5. Device Permissions

The App may use:

• NFC to read an authorized BoxIO NFC Tag intentionally presented by the user
• Camera access to capture tool or drawer photos
• Photo access to use images selected by the user
• Local storage to retain groups, Tags, labels, settings, and photo references

These permissions are used only to provide requested App functionality and are not used for advertising, tracking, or profiling.



6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on the device until the user deletes the related group or Tag, clears the App’s data, or uninstalls the App.

Because the App does not create accounts or upload this information to our servers, we do not retain a remote user account or cloud copy requiring a separate deletion request.



7. Data Security

Data is stored locally and protected by the security and application-isolation mechanisms provided by Android or iOS. We take reasonable measures to protect information processed by the App, but no electronic storage method can guarantee absolute security.



8. Children’s Privacy

Smart Tool Box (BoxIO) is intended for toolbox management and workplace use. It is not directed primarily to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.



9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, applicable laws, or store requirements change. The current version and effective date will be published on this page.
